Newr was founded at the end of 2021 and as the classic startup story goes, Newroriginated in the founderʼs motherʼs house in Greenwood, IN. Newr is a producttechnology startup with a concentration on smart home appliances with the goal ofcombining versatility with fun in an efficient experience. Newr has a passion foreliminating the unnecessary manual steps in an effort to reduce the rigor andcomplexity of daily activities.

These thoughts helped mold the products and their functions as well as cutting thecord, hose, or physical location limitation of most similar appliances. Newrʼs visionis to break the status quo by offering technology made to change the perspective.We are an organization that is dynamic and embracing of the recent hybrid workschedule as it sees benefits in a happy and productive workforce.

Meet Newr's Founder

Chad has 10 yrs in the automotive industry in product design anddevelopment and excelled in the new business acquisition andinnovative programs. Prior to this, he has had several retail salesjobs and also summer construction jobs. Chad graduated with aBachelors of Science from Purdue University from the School ofTechnology. Since childhood he has been hands on and creativespecifically by repairing electric pencil sharpeners, building workbenches, and constructing with various building toy sets.

He furthered his personal experience during his time on hisgrandparentsʼ farm during the summers of his youth where hewould learn to build gates,tear down old buildings,repairmachinery, and how the implements functioned. In his later years,he was able to blend the practical and classroom knowledge intobuilding and remodeling several homes including a completebuild in 2018. Chad has the willingness and determination tocomplete projects as well as lifeʼs challenges as he displayedwhen he completed several Spartan obstacle courses and the2019 Detroit Marathon.
