Newr is seeking a CAD Designer who works well in a dynamic environment team setting with flexible schedule. You'll work with others in your field for our projects that require these skills and provide direction to the team.
Create the detailed 3D models for manufacturing and 2D prints where needed. Create and maintain a BOM and revision history for tracking of changes. Understand concepts and use sketches and discussion to create 3D models. Produce thoughtful and innovative work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Experience in 3D and 2D cad design of complex assemblies. Experience with 3D printers. Experience with Solidworks or Catia a must. Experience in additive manufacturing design. Experience with subtractive manufacturing processes a plus. Experience in GD&T and manufacturing a plus. BS in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or similar degree a plus. Self-motivation, good communication skills, and a great team-player attitude is a must. Must sign an NDA prior to starting.
